Meet Morpheus Media

Simon Gibson

Pink Floyd "Wish You Were Here"Â, Led Zepplin "IV"Ã, Radiohead "Ok Computer"Â, and Tool "Aenima"...just a few reasons why I fell head first into music and have been dedicated to its pursuit for the last ten years.

Minimum wage at a coffee shop, no savings, New York rent, and two band mates who worked there...just a few reasons why I jumped head first into Morpheus Media.

Working as an SEM Strategist here at Morpheus Media has been one of the few times I've been able to apply concepts from my artistic, creative side, to my analytical, math oriented way of thinking. It's actually very similar to writing music in a lot of ways. You come up with a creative idea, you use your knowledge and originality to blend and mold those ideas into an approach. You have an idea of the finish line, but must be able to adapt to changes in any and all directions. And that's what I do in both my jobs.

Jeffrey Donenfeld

A graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, Jeffrey Donenfeld is Morpheus Media's SEO and Emerging Technologies Manager.

Blogging, Networking, Tweeting, Streaming, Pinging, Optimizing, RSS, XML, CSS, APIs... Jeffrey is obsessed with it all, and is lucky enough to have a job in which he gets to work with what he loves. Jeffrey writes about the state of the industry, as well as other interests on his blog http://www.Jeffzilla.com .

Jeffrey's interests are diverse. He grew up in Ohio and Colorado, and is an avid runner, biker, snowboarder and climber. He's also taken with music, world travel, deep space exploration, dinosaurs, prosciutto, and photography.

Shenan Reed

Dubbed the "Morpheus Mom", Shenan is often consulted for treatment advise regarding fevers, strange looking moles, minor non-lethal injuries as well as any other syndromes, diseases, maladies or conditions which may arise from time to time. Having two small children at home offers her a great deal of practice and clinical experience in playing Dr. Mom. Calvin (4.5 Years) and Charlotte (1 year) are her greatest accomplishments in life, followed closely by having the guts to start an online ad agency in the middle of the dotcom bust with Jamie and Alex. When not attending to her triage duties, Shenan is turned to for tips and tricks in Excel, DoubleClick, PowerPoint, Keynote and other applications. She greatly enjoys problem solving whether it's for a fever or a pivot table. She is proud to say that her iTunes music collection is the most varied in the office, though most of the team would say she should be embarrassed by the general lack of contemporary artists. Although she can tell you exactly what that 9 in the Excel subtotal formula does, don't ask her to name a hot band, you're likely to get Glenn Miller as an answer.

Meg Minuskin

Fresh off the college boat from NYU, Meg began her working life here at Morpheus. Years later, Meg is at home in her role as an Associate Director of Media Strategy for many of Morpheus' luxury retail and consumer goods brands. When she is not online strategizing, she is enjoying living in New York and taking advantage of everything life has to offer. Whether it be canyon jumping, crossword puzzles, road trips, cooking Indian food, racecar driving, or learning how to knit, Meg is down for anything at anytime. But staying true to her Cali roots, come summer, the only place you will find her is at the beach! Her favorite quote to date: "Was that life?...Well then! Once more!" (Nietzsche).

Raman Kia

I strive to live my life guided by these words:

Do not do to others what you would not want them to do to you; In all things, strive to cause no harm; Treat your fellow human beings, your fellow living things, and the world in general with love, honesty, faithfulness and respect; Do not overlook evil or shrink from administering justice, but always be ready to forgive wrong doing freely admitted and honestly regretted; Live life with a sense of joy and wonder; Always seek to be learning something new; Test all things, always check your ideas against the facts, and be ready to discard even a cherished belief if it does not conform to them; Never seek to censor or cut yourself off from dissent, always respect the right of others to disagree with you; Form independent opinions on the basis of your own reason and experience, do not allow yourself to be blindly led by others; Question everything; Do not discriminate or oppress on the basis of sex, race, or (as far as possible) species; Do not indoctrinate your children, teach them how to think for themselves, how to evaluate evidence, and how to disagree with you; Value the future on a timescale longer than your own. In short always do the right thing because it is the right thing to do.

Victoria Lo

Born in Australia, Victoria moved to Washington DC, the other side of the globe, when she was just a young girl. There she attended George Mason University and graduated in 2006 with a Marketing degree. Looking to satisfy her thirst for adventure, she packed up her things soon after college and moved to New York City. She has never looked back.

Victoria's interest in Marketing began in high school when she entered and won several marketing competitions. She also had a keen instinct to market herself, being involved in event planning, numerous runway shows, and modeling shoots in both DC and NYC. She has now brought her marketing prowess with her to Morpheus Media. Victoria strives to stay ahead of emerging trends and is determined to use her genius to help the homeless.

Other than her love for all things social media Victoria has a professed addiction to fast cars, food, and perfect grammar. When she's not eating, proofreading menus, or training to become a ninja warrior, she enjoys watching Attack of the Show and re-runs of King of Queens. She is also never afraid to mix it up with boys, and is always willing to toss a football around or pick up a Playstation 3 controller and play some Splinter Cell (Guitar Hero is also popular with her). She loves partaking in anything that measures intelligence and if it were possible she would take exams for a living. When it's warm you can find her on the beach or wandering around Central Park, but when it's cold you won't find her.

Rebecca Matt

According to my personality profile I am dreamy, peaceful and young at heart. Optimistic and caring, I tend to see the best in people. I tend to always be smiling and making others smile. I am shy and intelligent and a very hard worker. I am also funny, but many people don't see my funny side. My subtle dry humor leaves my close friends in stitches.
While my personality profile has me pretty much down to a T there are a few more things worth sharing. I love learning, and even more so I love working. Yes, I can imagine what you are thinking, but I really do love working. I was a dual major at Syracuse University. I studied communications as well as magazine at the S.I. Newhouse School Of Communications. I love magazines and I really enjoy writing.
I love quotes, song lyrics and witty humor. I have dreams of becoming a CEO of a fortune 500 company, being the Editor-In-Chief of a top magazine, being an integral part of fundraising efforts for several causes and one day being the proud owner of a sweet golf cart or two. I have a sincere passion for making other people happy. I'm generally not happy unless everyone around me is happy and I will do my best to make sure that happens! For now, I enjoy the ever-changing world of the online space we are in and appreciate the stresses, the subtleties and the successes of each day at Morpheus.

Stephanie Weingart

Stephanie Weingart is not your average "born in the 80s" type of girl. Stephanie, who started playing girls softball at age ten, enjoys running and teaching the beautiful practice of yoga. But being a calm and collected yoga instructor never stopped her from being in an all girl rock band, Dayglow, from 2002 to 2006. Singing and playing keyboards, music has always been a passion of Stephanie's. When Dayglow dismembered she decided to explore her interest in internet marketing, SEO and Social Media and found her way to Morpheus in early 2008. Joining the SEO team at the agency is one of her greatest accomplishments.

Stephanie makes it routine to be your everyday jock, nerd, rock star, and yogi all at the same time. In her none existent free time she enjoys blogging for a number of blogs, eating spicy foods, reading memoirs, making weird You Tube videos, and obsessing over Red Hot Chili Peppers. Weingart's goal is to start online trends that affect the masses.

Dave Surgan

Dave brings experience to his position at Morpheus from the Creative and Advertising Department at Barnes & Noble and Marketing and Promotions at House of Blues Orlando. With a sense of branding firmly in place, Dave followed his passions for online marketing, emerging technologies and social media to Morpheus where he has provided support on the Hennessy, Moët, Lord & Taylor, IFC and Sundance brands. This transition came naturally as Dave has his own NYC culture and events website and remains active in far too many social media communities than is healthy for one person. His current favorites include Tumblr, Twitter and Flickr.

Natasha Ivankovitser

It was not too long ago that Natasha was still taking afternoon naps and running traditionally late to her art history classes at Rutgers College. Always open-minded, her future ambitions ranged from moving to Italy to become a glass blower (fact: age 7) to aspiring to become a full-time movie critic (still an avid hobby). Today she finds herself working in Interactive Advertising (who knew?) and considers herself a master keyword builder. She is involved in a cutting-edge industry at an office where there are always sweets, dogs running around, and wonderful people to interact with (no pun intended). Long story short, she loves her niche at Morpheus.

Nora Walker

Nora has lived in NYC for the past ten years, which apparently is long enough to make her an "official" New Yorker, although she still prefers Chicago pizza, hot dogs, and sports teams (go Cubs! sigh..).

After graduating from New York University with a degree in Mass Media and Communications, she spent several years working in all aspects of the music industry doing everything from writing bios and press releases to music supervising and planning events and concerts for bands that she loved. She eventually worked as an A&R rep at a major record label where she listened to a lot of really bad demos, spent too much time standing in the corners of dark, crowded venues, and fetched vegan pizza (yuck) for some of your favorite (and not so favorite) rock stars.

Today, Nora is excited to bring her creativity and passion for all things online media to her clients at Morpheus, helping them shine as "rock stars" in Social Media. In her free time she writes her now 5 year old online music blog, still spends too much time seeing live music, and djs around the city. She also has the best iTunes library at Morpheus (true fact).

Ben Beyda

Ever since my first computer (IBM Aptiva!) I have tried to stay at the forefront of technology and the internet's evolution. Both have come a long, long way from the days of Prodigy and floppy disk drives. Since those early days I've been a frequent beta tester (for some amazing products like Hulu.com) and early adopter of new products (like the Creative Nomad Jukebox and the substantially better first gen iPod).

When I first heard of search engine optimization I was pursuing a doctoral degree in clinical psychology. I started doing freelance work for small businesses in New York and quickly noticed my interest in SEO was growing. At that point I began to fuse elements of psychology with SEO and contemplated a full time career in the field.

As an Associate SEO and Emerging Technologies strategist I not only work in an exciting and growing industry, but I'm also required to pursue my passion for emerging technologies as part of my job. I now use my background and interests to better understand why users and search engines think and behave as they do.

A few random facts about me: Even though I live in Manhattan I am more of a country mouse than a city mouse. I like digital photography and enjoy many different types of music (the last 3 artists played in iTunes: Bob Dylan, MGMT, Blue Scholars). I am often told I don't have a Long Island accent which, I think I dodged as a first generation American.

Lauren Yontef

Born and raised in the fabulous state of New Jersey, a rare quality found here at Morpheus Media, I traveled to the University of Florida for college. While I'd like to think I went for the reputation of the College of Journalism and Communications, there's much to be said for the warm weather, crazy people and of course Gator Football (GO GATORS)!!!!!!
Having recently graduated, I now find myself working very happily in the trafficking department at Morpheus. When I'm not playing around with banners, I'm enjoying my New York City lifestyle, spending time with friends and family, vacationing at random yet amazing places around the globe (well, I used to at least) and trying new and exciting things. I love sushi so much that some have said I may soon turn into a roll. I was a penguin in a past life and I'm definitely enjoying living this one!

James Simon

Polish Chinese mix
NJ Transit is the worst
My dog weighs four pounds

Simple and intelligible, this Haiku was written by James Simon 2 & 1/2 years after his journey started at Morpheus. Prior to his tenure, James worked as a Managing Director for a large retail chain. In a recent interview with Mr. Simon, he stated the reasons why he left his previous position, "I hated it!"

Born and raised in East Brunswick, NJ, James is an Associate Director of Media Strategy at Morpheus. He oversees a plethora of client brands ranging from high-end retail clients all the way to entertainment. Some of his unusual interests include little dogs, a 4-pound teacup poodle and a 7-pound chihuahua, American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance, LOST, and Wii Mario Kart.

James' love for Morpheus can be easily seen on a daily basis:

"The culture, the employees, the Open Door Policy for all the executives, the dogs, and the incredible sense of family are my main reasons why I cherish the opportunity I have received here."

Zai Jian

Emily Las

Emily is the center of our Search universe at Morpheus Media. It is rare to walk into her office and not find her passing along the knowledge she has gained onto everyone else here. She has been credited with coining not only the phrase "the speed of search" but the actual ability to move at the speed of search. She has her hands in almost every, if not all of the search accounts at Morpheus, always making the effort to know what is going on with each and to provide feedback on how to boost performance. Her co-workers often joke that they want to just sit next to her so they can absorb her knowledge.

Don't be fooled by her picture; while Emily is wise beyond her years, she does not wear reading glasses. She was Sarah Palin for Halloween last year. And yes, she really does look like her. Emily has been known to drink several cups of coffee and diet coke simultaneously and can be found wearing gray and/or tie-dye almost every day.

Jeremy Chang

After Jeremy had graduated from University of Delaware about 7 years ago he decided to pursue one of his passions which was music. He quickly packed up his bags, moved to NY and started working at Warner Music Group. After several years of working with artists and going out more often than he should have, he decided to pursue another passion, online media. He was lucky enough to receive a job offer from Morpheus and things have been gravy since.

Now he spends his days, working with luxury clients and keeping up with all the latest happenings in the online industry. Like almost everyone he knows, he loves to travel, read, watch sports and enjoy life, but realistically he spends most of his time eating, hanging out, eating some more and trying to make his wonderful clients happy!

Julie Scherr

Born and raised in the great city of Baltimore, Julie came to Morpheus as a recent graduate of Brandeis University, where she double majored in History and Spanish. After a brief stint in the broadcast journalism world Julie transitioned into interactive marketing and has been perfecting her keyword building skills ever since.

An avid Ravens fan, Julie loves football and her wealth of sports knowledge is said to rival any man's! In her free time, she enjoys traveling, eating sushi (for breakfast, lunch, and dinner), trying new things, running, yoga and spending time with friends.

Rachel Resnick

Born and raised in Boston, I started off my advertising career in Beantown after graduating with a degree in Psychology from Brandeis University.

I was lured to the city that never sleeps by exciting career opportunities and the ability to get anything--from bagels to a manicure--at any time of day. Although I have grown to love everything the big apple has to offer, I will never give up my loyalty to the Red Sox.

When I'm not planning out display strategies, you can find me exploring the city with friends, reading in a coffee shop or people-watching in central park. I also love to travel and plan to make it to at least two more
continents in my lifetime.

Jaclyn Weiskopf

Jacky is a true Philadelphia girl at heart who will never give up her love for cheese steaks, the Flyers, and her pronunciation of the word "bagel".

Soon after graduating from Lehigh University with a Marketing degree, Jacky decided to move to the big city to begin her career in advertising. After working on the client-side of media & advertising for several years, it was time to give agency life at Morpheus a try. She has quickly fallen into the groove, media planning for several luxury brands.

Jacky is adapting well to her roll as a New Yorker, which she believes means lots of shopping, eating, shopping, shows, & did I mention shopping.

Rachel Bien

I am going to keep this short and sweet because I am very shy and hate to talk. Well, that's a lie! I am an outgoing, energetic, Jersey girl who loves to hang out with her friends and family and find new, interesting places and sites in NYC. I spent my college years at Boston University studying Business while concentrating in Marketing and Finance. Although I am good with numbers, I found my first job, which was in Finance, to be boring. After two painful weeks in Finance I found myself in the wonderful world of being a Sales Assistant at a magazine which allowed me to be more creative and show my personality. From there I moved on to Morpheus where I am able to fuse my love for numbers and my creativity through strategy and planning. Now, I'm going to go back to putting those skills to good use while shimmying at my desk. Nice to meet you!

Toma Beczak

I majored in linguistic anthropology, wrote a thesis on "disappearing" pronouns (like thou), and always feared that I would never be able to find gainful employment. Luckily the stars aligned to position me as a media planner, and I began my first job gratefully placing camcorder ads on sites such as CamcorderInfo.com.

Around the same time, I also realized that I had finally found a home. Having grown up in Hong Kong, Japan, France, and the U.S., I never really felt I belonged to any particular place until I moved to New York with the explicit intention of making it my new home and living here happily ever after.

When I'm not at work, I am most likely eating or sleeping. I am also obsessed with the sun and keep a light box on my desk in winter. I am always listening to music and love going to the movies, cooking, and generally staying in. I really enjoy planning things (particularly vacations, and of course, media), and true to my nomadic roots, I travel whenever I can.

Tobye Whitman

Meet Tobye Whitman - That's Tobye with an "E."

Shortly after graduating from New York University, majoring in "The Construction of American Identity Through Narrative" (She made up her own major. Seriously.), Tobye began her professional career at Morpheus Media. She is widely known for her love of keyword builds and trafficking, though her true passion lies in food. Need restaurant recommendations? French? Thai? Venezuelan? Cuban!? In the East Village? Or perhaps the Lower East Side? Tobye is the one to see. On weekends, she scours Manhattan in search of the best dishes the city has to offer. And when she's not indulging herself with delicious foods, she travels to exotic destinations. In the past few years, she's lived in Barcelona, visited Tahiti, Vietnam, Israel, Costa Rica, Morocco, and a number of other places. Now, it looks as though her next destination is Nagano, Japan.

Jeffrey Capossela

Jeffrey Capossela is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island where he mastered his skills in painting and design, and soon after jumped into the world of traditional advertising in Midtown Manhattan. With 7 years of "real world" experience under his belt, since leaving the Ocean State, he has needless to say found himself with some eclectic jobs along the way (including but not limited to: selling wine in the West Village and helping motorcycle techs get the parts to fix a fried clutch at a Manhattan motorcycle dealership).

Now at Morpheus Media Jeff finds himself on the SEO Team dabbling in all areas of the business. On any given day he can be found constructing detailed wire-frames or optimizing a site for the search engine crawlers. All in all Jeff is enjoying being a part of this emerging industry.

In his free time Jeff stills loves to paint (you may see one of his paintings hanging in the Morpheus office) and enjoys stopping in at the local music venues to check out his favorite bands. He loves sushi and Aquarians. Some may say he's obsessed with the Yankees and the Rangers, but he'd call it more of a profound passion. So, during baseball and hockey season you know where you can find him: planted in front of a TV watching the games with some sushi and sake.

Gabrielle Goneconti

As a recent graduate from the Fashion Institute of Technology, Brie joined Morpheus full-time after 5 months of interning. She landed the job after a strategic answer in her interview - Name 3 things you can do with a pencil besides write with it? Her answer: "Well, my mother always told me to carry a sharp one at night, just in case I'm attacked. Is that a weird answer?" It was very unique to say the least, but the out of the box thinking secured her job working as an Associate Account Strategist on Wines and Spirits.

In her spare time, Brie enjoys taking advantage of all the city has to offer including Broadway shows, trying new restaurants, shopping, and spending time with her friends and boyfriend. But when she's not out and about, she's trying out new recipes, watching her favorite TV shows, or just kicking back and relaxing with a nice glass of wine.

Vincent Mesolella

I spent the past three years in traditional advertising and was bored. I wanted my career to incorporate everything that I love, design, luxury, and all things media, so I joined the Morpheus Media team as an Associate Account Strategist.

I moved to Manhattan two years ago and I love everything about it. I was born and raised in the small but fierce state of Rhode Island. It's not the size of your state that matters but how good the restaurants are.

I graduated from Northeastern University in Boston in 2005. My tenure in Boston served me well. While feeding my love for the Red Sox, I also gained some valuable experience in the ad industry. During my college years I interned at the Boston Globe and three different ad agencies in the creative and account management departments. I've worked on everything from fast food to Hollywood films.

I'm a Leo and a foodie. I like Mediterranean vacations, Gucci loafers, and sausage and pepper sandwiches.

Michelle Lira

One of the first things you'll realize upon meeting Michelle is that she basically loves everything unless she doesn't like it. She can't decide what her favorite movie, TV show, band or song is (she's usually trying to decide between at least 3 choices and just when you think she has decided, she will have changed her mind at least 4 more times). She hails from the Chicago-land area and loves all things Chicago, from the food (a constant battle: deep dish pizza or Italian beef?) to the people (shout out to her friends and family!) to the architecture; but she loves everything about New York City as well (although she maintains she's a loyal Bears fan); oh, she loves Paris too. Michelle even loves to use the word "love" a lot and you can generally figure out you're chatting with her online without looking at the name because of her over-usage of smiley faces, exclamation points, and "lol"s.

When not Wikipedia-ing or IMDb-ing random facts, to create awesome keyword builds, you can generally find her dancing in her chair to music, talking to herself or laughing at a joke that was said/she said/she was thinking about. When she's not at Morpheus she loves to shop, follow fashion, play Rockband with her cousin, read books, workout, cook and eat with her room mates, hang out with her friends, volunteer, watch crime or home improvement shows, wait, this may go on forever, so why don't we stop here?

Lerna Terpanjian

The saying is true. My friends & coworkers would vouch: you can take a girl out of Jersey, but not the Jersey out of the girl. Rarely is my speedometer on the left of 80 (yes, I'm probably just driving to WaWa), I love Bon Jovi, enjoy diners only after 3 a.m., and I pump my fist, not my gas.

Yes, I'm also sarcastic and a little stubborn; HOWEVER, there's a lot more that goes into the equation. For example, I'm what you might call a closet romantic. Shakespeare, Beethoven, Sinatra, a good chick flick followed by a culminating sob - who? Me? Naaah.

I attended Rutgers University (Go Knights!) having double majored in Journalism/Media Studies and Psych. I joined Morpheus Media shortly after graduation & quickly got into the swing of habitual keyword builds & reporting.

When I'm not at work, I'm probably with my incredibly big (and loud) Armenian family, trying new restaurants, engaging in impromptu dance-offs, playing piano, traveling, or watching useless TV shows, most of which I wouldn't admit to anyway. I replace meals with chocolate, love black & white photos & one day I'll learn how to cook (before my mother disowns me).

Eric Herbel

My focus here is primarily community relations, social media and brand management. In addition to these principle responsibilities I develop Corporate Blog Strategies, their accompanying outreach efforts, and the information architecture that supports them...but according to my supervisor I am only good for getting coffee. I am an Aquarius. My favorite color is blue. I like long walks on the beach. And I use to open for Wayne Newton at the Stardust. Ok, one of those was a lie, but I'm not telling which. So, if I am not stuck on N.J Transit, you're most likely to run into me on the slopes somewhere making fresh tracks...

Nate Poeschl

A recent transplant to New York City, this former resident of Dayton, Ohio and UD Flyer is loving life in the Big Apple. In his spare time he enjoys snowboarding, movies, great sushi, Guitar Hero, and time travel. He can often be found at one of the numerous concert venues in the city, enjoying high voltage rock. Nate's idols include MacGuyver, Tom Petty, Zack Morris, and whoever invented Malomars. Working as an Associate Search & Emerging Media Strategist, Nate works on a variety of clients and simply can't get enough of doing keyword builds.

Peter Gray

Painting by numbers: As an economic major and art studio minor in college, Peter has always found his interests to be in conflict with one another, having a real interest for economic theories, at the same time a passion for digital photography and modern art. As a new arrival to New York City, hailing from upstate New York, representing the Roc (Rochester NY), everything is still new and exciting to him. As a person that does not enjoy driving, he finds the Subway to be the best thing since slice bread. Music is one of his major vices and the New York indie music scene is overflowing with talented bands, good or bad he is there.

As a new member to the Morpheus Media Team like a sponge he is soaking up knowledge from the talent around him, Peter is a Search and Emerging Media Strategist working on a team in charge of 11 clients ranging from cosmetics to high end jewelry.
Outside of work you can find Peter hanging out with friends, at concerts, sporting events, or taking pictures around the city.

Amanda DeVincentis

A New Jersey native and Rutgers College alumni, Amanda didn't travel too far to join the Morpheus Media team. When she's not busy media planning she's spending time with her friends and family, dreaming of her next travels, or ironically, still attached to her computer. Amanda loves music, dancing, trying new foods, and indulging in addicting reality television. She enjoys entertainment and magazines. She likes to write, to bake, and celebrities are her obsession - in the least superficial way possible. After almost two amazing years at Morpheus, she is excited about how much the company has grown and to be a part of it's continued success.

Dante Bucci

What more can be said about Dante that hasn't already been written? From scaling Mt. Everest alone (twice) to leading an expedition to find Shangri-La, Dante is truly a man that gets 'er done.

Dante grew up on the south Jersey shore with three younger brothers where he learned how to surf and golf, both of which he still does to this day - a lot. Mix this in with excessive video gaming and you instantly see his appeal. Dante went on to expand his massive brain at Rutgers University where he studied Economics and holds many intramural sports records, some of which are widely accepted to be unbreakable by today's standards. After graduation he spent a year gone walkabout in the Australian outback.

During one summer hiking through Africa Dante noticed the Kukuruku tribe's watering hole had gone dry. Without hesitation he dug a drinking well with his bare hands for three days straight. This is the level of dedication and tenacity that he brings to Morpheus Media and its clients. Whether it be optimizing SEM or finding out who ordered the Chinese food, Dante brings his A+ game.

Robert J Coghan

I hail from the great state of New Jersey; but do not be quick to compare me to my fist pumping, tight shirt, chest hair enthusiast brethren! I am a sensitive Scorpio who enjoys self discovery, long walks on the beach, watching the seasons change, quiet contemplation of the meaning of life, and demolishing all who oppose me in Guitar Hero! I interned at Morpheus media throughout all four years of undergraduate study and merely 1 week after graduating from Rutgers University began working full-time. The atmosphere, people, and general non-corporate family-oriented feel of Morpheus is what makes me love my job as an Affiliate Account Strategist.

Scott Elliott

Born in El Paso Texas and almost a lifelong New Jersey resident, Scott Elliott joins the Morpheus Team as the Accounting Manager. Though he has a Psychology Degree from Rutgers University, Scott has parlayed his skills with accounting and numbers into a challenging career choice. Scott has partially traveled the globe, visiting 10 foreign countries to date and most of the United States, with many more travels on the horizon. Scott is addicted to all types of media including music, film, technology and video games and is as comfortable on the couch as he is performing a marriage as an ordained reverend. "I look forward to many more productive and creative years in my professional life at Morpheus."

David Levine

Born and raised in New Jersey, David moved to Columbus, Ohio to attend The Ohio State University, and Franklin University. After earning a Marketing degree, he felt it was time to leave the Midwest and put his talents to work in the Big Apple. As the Senior Ad Operations Strategist, David works closely with our Clients to assure their Creative Branding Campaigns are running as planned.
When David is not hard at work at Morpheus, he is enjoying his other interests in life. Some of these include: Spending time with his family and friends, watching sports, listening to Pearl Jam and Howard Stern, going to concerts, walking around New York City giving tourists inaccurate directions, and praying the NY Jets win the Super Bowl in his lifetime.

Halie Ritterman

They say good things come in small packages, and Halie Ritterman is just that. At a towering 5 foot 3 inches, Halie joined Morpheus after returning from every New Yorkers ten minute stint in LA. With a newfound appreciation for fake blonde hair, and intellectual conversation, Halie brings not only water cooler convos about LOST to the Morpheus team but a language all her own. Whether she is adding extra syllables or creating new words altogether, her penchant for the unordinary has given her a leg (albeit a small leg) up on her competitors. As a Search and Emerging Media Strategist for the team, Halie's unique words and pleasant nature add not only value but comedic relief for the team.

Marius Draghici

Born and raised in Bucharest (Romania), Marius joined Morpheus after graduating SUNY at Stony Brook with a Computer Science degree. As an Information Technology Manger, Marius serves as the main point of contact for all areas involving computing technologies: from hardware and software purchasing or debugging to researching and implementing new solutions. Although he doesn't have time anymore to pursue his passion for climbing, Marius still enjoys hiking occasionally and dreams of tackling the Eiger's wall someday.

Jessica Coghan

I am the O.G. of Morpheus Media. I was their first employee. I remember when Google adwords were sold on a straight CPM and when buying online was considered the equivalent of throwing your money in a sewer. A lot has changed in the industry and with me! After living in Union Square for years with my 90 lb. Shepherd beast, Luca (or "the pants") and my husband, Raman (or "poodle"- just kidding) we moved to my home town outside of Princeton, NJ when we found out twins were on the way!! My two hilarious and gorgeous sons, Cameron & Cyrus are now one year olds and life in the 'burbs is not so bad... how glorious it is to walk outside and not have to hopscotch around the cockroaches or dodge that crazy hobo throwing an old shoe at me!
At Morpheus I have gone from being the queen of the interns (I was the only intern) to the Director of Client Services & Luxury Retail, I know it's a mouthful- but the job is big too! This industry has grown leaps and bounds - Interactive marketing is the only media that can be really held accountable for its performance and I am proud to work in a company where accountability is part of the core values.

Eric Chang

The one and only e.Chang of Morpheus Media grew up around several different areas in New York Metro and New Jersey. Exposed to the urban city life & the suburbia, Eric was quick to learn many life lessons and diversified his cultural experience. Eric's dream of being an NBA point guard or an Olympic Gold Medalist in Hurdles had to wait in order to join Morpheus in 2007 (He will make a MJ-like comeback soon enough). He loves to watch and play almost every sports games during his off time, while embracing his obsession in collecting hats and shoes. Eric also loves to get creative and artistic with graphic designs and mixing all kinds of music at home (other than country music). Currently, he focuses on SEM as a Search & Emerging Media Strategist, delivering Morpheus Media's best practices to build and optimize our clients' brands.

In this competitive industry of advertising, we all know its tough to stay on top of our game. Hence, Eric always refer back to one of his favorite quote to stay on top at all times. "In a world of ordinary and conventional, only the most distinctive will ever leave a truly lasting impression."

Whether I'm on a call discussing strategy or in a meeting, you'll often find me downing as much coffee as time can afford. However, I only eat cupcakes after 3pm. It's a rule. While away from the office, it's not uncommon to see me walking through Central Park (coffee in hand, of course), at a dive bar on the Upper West side (no coffee here, just Hefeweizen), or walking into any old corner market "just to browse." One of my favorite things to do? Read the informational labels on packaged goods. I've been doing this since I learned to read. As a kid at the breakfast table, I'd line up all the cereal boxes in front of me so I could read them all while I ate. Then, I'd quiz my sisters on what percentage of their daily value of Vitamin C is in a serving and how many grams are in a serving. Now that I am working in online advertising, my focus has shifted a bit.....from nutritional servings to ad serving!

Samantha Raizen

Sam comes to New York City via London via Boston via Denver. While she's not attempting random extreme sports (see photo: Canyoning in Switzerland), she's probably lacing up her running shoes in Williamsburg or dreaming up her next vacation to Thailand or Australia. Otherwise, she might be found pouring over the intricacies of the Google Quality Score or optimizing spend over here on 26th street.

Toby Evers

Aside from regularly rocking the stage with his band Buddahead, Toby manages Morpheus' search engine optimization strategies and consults with clients on up-and-coming media platforms and technologies. He's a social media enthusiast and pens a SEO blog called http://rockandrollseo.com . "My creativity and passion for music translates well in my career here at Morpheus."...
