Excel Tip 2 – How to Remove Hyperlinks from a List of URLs

You know those times when you have 100,000 terms in your keyword build and 1/2 of the URLs are hyperlinked and you keep clicking on them by accident as you try to navigate the page and it makes you really, really mad!!

Here’s the fast easy solution for removing those hyperlinks.

1) In a blank cell any where on the page type the number 1
2) Copy that cell
3) Select the entire range of URLS (hyperlinked and non hyperlinked alike)
4) Paste/Special – check the Multiply button
5) Hit okay

NOTE: This also works for removing all formatting from cells, so beware if you have highlighted some of the URLs for any reason that hilightinng will go away.
